Yi Deng, Ph.D., Dean of UNC Charlotte’s College of Computing and Informatics (CCI), has accepted the position of Dean of the College of Computing and Informatics at Drexel University effective September 1, 2016.

Assistant Professor Lixia Yao, Ph.D., with the College of Computing and Informatics’ Department of Software and Information Systems, has been selected to receive a Career Development Award in Biomedical Informatics from the National Library of Medicine at the National Institute of Health.
